Every hat begins with a carefully chosen vintage quilt, each one rich with the whispers of the past. I source these pre-loved textiles from across Oklahoma, giving them new life through thoughtful design. The main body is crafted from these reclaimed quilt cottons, celebrated for their softness and timeless patterns.

To shape the hat while keeping it lightweight, I use natural cotton interfacing—no stiff synthetics here. The chin tie is made from supple genuine leather, offering both durability and an adjustable fit. Every stitch is sewn with strong cotton thread, ensuring this piece can be cherished for years.

These materials are selected not just for beauty, but for their stories. When you wear this hat, you carry forward the history of the quilt—and become part of its new story, too.
